This is special wooden set. Chess board is big and beautiful. The cassette is made of a solid piece of natural, dark Mahogany wood, inlaid with light sycamore wood, all is semi-matt varnished. That finish gives incredible value to the chess board. Chess pieces are made of cherry wood. Inlaid with metal, hand carved. Metal loaded to make them heavier. Plastic insert to hold the pieces still inside the cassette. The chess set is big and beautiful, brand new hand crafted from wood in the south Poland.
