Chess figures are intricately hand carved in an old style, made of hardened wood by long-term soaking.The cassette is made of a solid piece of natural, dark Mahogany wood, inlaid with light sycamore wood, all is semi-matt varnished. That finish gives incredible value to the chess board. Plastic insert to hold the pieces still. The chess set is big and beautiful, brand new hand crafted from wood in the south Poland.
